I am a proud supporter of Creighton University Athletics and have had the pleasure of serving as a member of the Creighton University medical staff as a chiropractor since 2016. I treat athletes from all sports on campus and at the clinic. It is rewarding to be able to offer chiropractic services to student-athletes at my alma mater. It doesn’t seem like too long ago I was a student athlete at Creighton as a member of the men’s soccer team.
Sports chiropractic is for all ages and abilities including Division I athletes, youth sports teams, and weekend warriors. It involves a multi-modal approach to injury and performance including joint manipulation, soft tissue mobilization, therapeutic exercise, dry needling, and more. I have more tools in my toolbox compared to the traditional chiropractic approach and many of these come in handy when working with athletes because soft tissue injuries are much more common.
I love to highlight the accomplishments of the athletes that walk through our doors and allow me to help. Check out our ever growing athlete wall next time you are in the clinic.
